Bob Morrell Co-Founder and CEO
|
Bob Morrell is a leading authority on risk management technology solutions. He co-founded Riskonnect in July 2007 to develop and market comprehensive software solutions addressing strategic and traditional, insurable risk management
Morrell started programming professionally as a 15-year-old high school student who had to take the school bus to a job where he was the first employee without a college degree. His early taste for technology and a lifelong penchant for programming led Morrell to co-found his first risk management software firm, Risk Laboratories, while a sophomore at Georgia Tech. That firm has since been divested and is now part of No. 2 broker Aon Corporation.
Morrell continues to lead the technology revolution for risk and safety professionals with Riskonnect's cloud-computing platform and world-class team of risk management innovators. Morrell was named the winner of Risk & Insurance magazine's 2008 Risk Innovators Award for the utility sector. Riskonnect also won the Salesforce.com 2008 Appy Award for the Force.com Breakthrough App of the Year.
As a thought-leader in the risk management industry, Morrell speaks on numerous Enterprise Risk Management and risk management-related topics to local, national and international groups.
