Position:                 Data Services Engineer

Reports To:             Director of Data Services

Location:                 Major Metropolitan Areas

Compensation:       Commensurate with level of experience

Focus on the delivery of superior technology and service to a broad spectrum of customers. In collaboration with clients, sales colleagues, and fellow Professional Services team members you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of Riskonnect's data integration solutions in the latest cloud computing model.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, automation, and maintenance of inbound and outbound data transformation solutions using Microsoft SQL Server
  as well as ETL and automation tools
• Data integration quality validation, issue investigation and resolution
• Creation of complex database queries, indexes and stored procedures
• Contribution to strategic initiatives involving inbound and outbound data integration
• Contribution to the maintenance and evolution of best practices

Qualifications

• Experience in the development of data integration/data consolidation processes
• Proficiency in query-writing, stored procedure development, and views
• Analytical ability for use in problem-solving during data integration solution development and maintenance
• Understands the importance of data provenance and the ability to demonstrate it to clients
• Experience in the Risk Management and/or Insurance industries is recommended but not essential
• Multi-lingual a plus
